Hi! My name is Emily, I’m 18. It’s that age when you’re standing on the edge of something new, and you still don’t know exactly what lies ahead. I feel kind of lost but also excited — it’s a time when you want to do everything, try everything, and figure out what truly interests you.

I think a lot about the future, but at the same time, I try to enjoy the present. So much is happening right now: studying, new friendships, figuring out my path. On one hand, I want to be an adult, independent and all that, but on the other hand, I sometimes really miss the simple joys of. I love hanging out with my friends, laughing until my stomach hurts, watching shows, and listening

I can’t say I’m fully confident yet, but I’m working on it. It’s hard not to listen to other people’s opinions and stay true to what I want, but I try not to be afraid to take risks and do what feels right. Sometimes, I lack courage, but I know I’m getting stronger and wiser with each year.
